IMPORTANCIA DE LOS SISTEMAS DE INFORMACIÓN EN LA INDUSTRIA DE LA CONSTRUCCIÓN EN LAS ÁREAS DE MERCADOTECNIA Y CONTABILIDAD PARA LA EMPRESA KUKY SILVERIO INDUSTRIAL DE PUERTO PLATA, PERIODO 2004-2005

Resumen
En el mundo de hoy día la globalización económica obliga a las empresas a identificar y desarrollar nuevas herramientas que les permita diferenciarse y competir en respuesta a la dinámica cambiante del mercado. Los sistemas de información ofrecen la oportunidad de generar ventajas competitivas basadas en la rapidez y manejo de la información, permitiendo a las empresas tener un mayor control en sus operaciones, con unos costes muchos menores de lo que había sido posible hasta ahora. A través de los sistemas de información muchas empresas verán como incrementa su ventaja competitiva a medida que los usuarios tienen fácil acceso a la información 24 horas al día, 7 días a la semana.
Este estudio tiene un enfoque cuantitativo, bibliográfico; puesto a que las informaciones obtenidas provienen de libros, revistas e internet. Es exploratoria, ya que se evalúa la importancia de los sistemas de información en la industria de la construcción en las áreas de mercadotecnia y contabilidad para la empresa Kuky Silverio Industrial. Es un estudio de campo en el que se utilizó como universo los usuarios de los sistemas de información de la empresa Kuky Silverio Industrial cuyos instrumentos aplicados fueron cuestionarios y entrevistas.
Los resultados muestran que el 80% de los beneficios percibidos por la empresa Kuky Silverio Industrial dependen de sus sistemas de información, ya que esta herramienta le permita a la empresa disminuir tiempo y costes en sus operaciones, mantener a la vanguardia y además ofrecer a sus clientes servicios agiles y atractivos. La empresa ha obtenido mayor eficiencia en sus empleados. Se determinó que los empleados tienen un gran nivel de confiabilidad y los conocimientos necesarios para la realización de las operaciones con el uso de estos sistemas de información. Los gerentes de la empresa en cuestión sostienen, que los sistemas de información son una herramienta segura para la administración de las informaciones de la empresa; pero sus empleados no se sienten seguro con la confidencialidad que brindan estos para salvaguardar los proyectos de la empresa.
El estudio concluyó que la estrategia utilizada por la empresa para invertir en sistemas de información modernos son las adecuadas por la gerencia, puesto a que el 80% de los encuestados dicen que estos brindan un mejor servicio a sus clientes y que se lograron los beneficios económicos proyectados y planeados en un tiempo establecido por la gerencia, produciendo mayor rendimiento en sus operaciones y a las tomas de decisiones correctas en el tiempo preciso, teniendo en cuenta la veracidad de las informaciones y los resultados obtenidos como son: rentabilidad, solidez, desarrollo de recursos humanos y el posicionamiento de la empresa en el ámbito competitivo.

Abstract
In today's world of economic globalization requires companies to identify and develop new tools that allow them to differentiate and compete in response to changing market dynamics. Information systems offer the opportunity to generate based on speed and information management competitive advantages, allowing companies to have more control in their operations, with costs much lower than had been possible until now. Through information systems as many companies will increase their competitive advantage as users have easy access to information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
This study is a quantitative, bibliographic approach; put that information obtained come from books, magazines and internet. It is exploratory, since the importance of information systems in the construction industry in the areas of marketing and business accounting for Kuky Silverio Industrial evaluated. It is a field study in which users of information systems Kuky Silverio Industrial Company whose instruments used were questionnaires and interviews were used as universe.
The results show that 80% of the profits earned by the company Kuky Silverio Industrial depend on their information systems, as this tool will allow the company to reduce time and costs in their operations, keep at the forefront and also offer its customers agile and attractive services. The company has achieved greater efficiency in their employees. It was determined that employees have a high level of reliability and expertise needed to carry out operations with the use of these information systems. The managers of the company in question argue that information systems are a safe tool for managing information of the company; but their employees do not feel safe with the confidentiality provided by these projects to safeguard the company.
The study concluded that the strategy followed by the company to invest in modern information systems are adequate by management, given that 80% of respondents say that they provide better service to their customers and that the economic benefits were achieved designed and planned in a time set by management, resulting in increased performance in their operations and take the right decisions at the right time, taking into account the accuracy of the information and results as: profitability, solidity, resource development human and positioning the company in the competitive arena.
